Hey everyone! 👋 I'm relatively new to the userscript community and wanted to contribute something useful.
I actually develop a full-fledged browser extension dedicated to downloading subtitles from streaming platforms. To give back to the community, I decided to extract the core code from my extension and turn it into this lightweight, free script for you to use!
This script allows you to easily extract and download the raw subtitle file for the HBO Max episode or movie you are currently watching.
Because streaming platforms like HBO update their code all the time, simple scripts can sometimes break. Also, heavy tasks like format conversion or batch downloading are hard to do in a basic script without freezing the webpage.
